CG News: The case of fake appointments that came to light in the education department of Khairagarh district of Chhattisgarh has now taken the shape of a big administrative scam. It has become clear in the investigation that at least 9 people entered the government service with the help of forged appointment orders, drew regular salaries for years and the system did not even notice. As soon as the matter came to light, there was a stir in the education department.
Entire network exposed through one fake appointment
The investigation started with Tikam Chand Sahu, working on the post of Assistant Grade 3. In the documents, his appointment was shown in the name of State Education Commission, Raipur, but as soon as its official verification was done, the whole story changed. Verification revealed that the order on the basis of which the job was being done was never issued. The government records exposed the truth. In the reply received from the state level, it was clarified that order number 34 dated 09.09.2021 is not related to the appointment.
The signatures on the appointment letter do not match the original records. The order presented is completely fake and forged. After this revelation, considering the matter as a serious irregularity, a report was sent to the higher level.
Posting and transfer even after fake appointment
The most shocking aspect was that despite the appointment being fake, posting orders were issued from the ministry level. Under these orders, the posting took place as follows. Tikam Chand Sahu was sent to Government High School Mohgaon, Fagendra Sinha was sent to Government Higher Secondary School Bakarkatta, Razia Ahmed was sent to Government Higher Secondary School Palmyatta, Azhar Ahmed was sent to BEO Office Chhuikhadan and C.H. Anthony Amma was posted in Government Higher Secondary School, Thakurtola.
Names of employees recorded in government records for years
Surprisingly it also came to light that an employee never joined, yet his name remained recorded in the government records for years. Now many faces have come into the circle of action. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the administration has started the process of scrutinizing the service records of the employees involved in fake appointments, considering the recovery of salary payments, and fixing the accountability of the officers and employees who forwarded the files.
