RJD leader Manoj Jha attacks Indore water crisis, says – understand human lives

Indore. So far 16 people have died due to drinking contaminated government water in Bhagirathpura, Indore. At the same time, about 200 people are admitted in the hospital, out of which the condition of 4 remains critical. About 1500 people are said to be affected by this entire crisis. Apart from Madhya Pradesh, reactions on this matter are sharp in many states. RJD leader from Bihar Manoj Jha, while reacting to the Indore water pollution tragedy, said that for the government, these deaths are just official figures.

Manoj Jha said, “Sometimes words don’t fill my stomach, it was not reflected in your expressions, it was not reflected in your working style. Taking aim at Kailash Vijayvargiya, he said, ‘Leave the rest of the things… the way the minister (Kailash Vijayvargiya) responded when asked a question by a journalist… there was not even an iota of sympathy in it.’ There is mockery in it because you know that you know the art of winning elections.”

He further said in a statement to PTI, “You will never drink that water yourself and will compensate those who die… The dead are not just a figure. Every death is a figure in your government file. But it is not a figure for the family. You give compensation and then we wait for the next figure.”

On the statement of Uttarakhand Minister Rekha Arya’s husband, Manoj Jha said, see, such a statement has not come for the first time. This thinking itself is bad and people with this thinking have reached or rather been promoted to great positions. It is not a matter of concern for me that such a thing has been said about my state and such an indecent comment has been made because a senior minister had made indecent remarks about my state while talking to me inside the House. Questioning, he said, “Why is the Prime Minister silent on this issue? What kind of system is being created and are many ministers of our state in this double engine, are they not hurt by such comments? If not, then hold the mirror in front of you and declare that your sympathy is dead.”
