Congress will protest on ‘Ji Ram Ji’ and save MNREGA campaign from January 5

After the issue of Save Aravali and vote theft, now the politics of Congress will be seen revolving around ‘Ji Ram Ji’ i.e. MNREGA. With the beginning of the new year, Congress is going to launch a save MNREGA movement against the central government. This movement will start across the country from January 5, under which foot marches, torchlight processions, demonstrations and public meetings will be organized.

Rajasthan Congress will also start a movement in the entire state regarding MNREGA. From state to block level, Congress workers will take to the streets to protest against the new amendment bill of the Central Government. The Congress high command has passed a proposal to launch an aggressive movement regarding MNREGA in the meeting of the Congress Working Committee. The circulation related to the strategy of the movement will soon be sent to all the state Congress committees. Congress alleges that the central government is trying to weaken the basic structure of MNREGA. Earlier, Congress had strongly protested in both the Houses of Parliament against changing the name of MNREGA scheme and removing the name of Mahatma Gandhi. However, despite the opposition, the amended bill was passed, after which Congress has now decided to take to the streets.

UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi also seems to be active regarding this issue. He has also written editorials on this issue in some media organizations. After this, a meeting of the Congress Working Committee was called, in which it was decided to run a nationwide movement to save MNREGA. Congress leaders have called it a fight for the rights of workers. In fact, more than 12 crore workers associated with MNREGA are employed across the country. In such a situation, the Congress think tank is preparing to make this issue a big political weapon. The party is working on a strategy to prove itself labor friendly and tap the rural vote bank through MNREGA. Now it has to be seen how much political success Congress gets on the issue of ‘Ji Ram Ji’ i.e. MNREGA.
