Bhopal : Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Adal Singh Kanshana has said that an effective action plan should be prepared to make the market premises farmer-oriented. It should also be ensured that farmers get better facilities in the markets, transparent marketing system and fair prices for their crops. Agriculture Minister Kanshana was presiding over the 144th meeting of the Board of Directors of Madhya Pradesh State Agricultural Marketing Board. All the proposals were passed unanimously in the meeting. Secretary Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Nishant Barbade, Managing Director Mandi Board Kumar Purushottam, officials of Registration Cooperative Society and Mandi Board were present in the meeting.
Major proposals passed in the meeting
Approval from the Board of Directors for payment of dues for rental vehicles.
M.P. Approval of diesel/petrol expenditure in excess of eligibility in the vehicles allotted by the State Agricultural Marketing Board in the period from April 2021 to March 2022.
Soybean price difference payment for Kharif year 2025 under the Price Deficit Payment Scheme under the Prime Minister Annadata Income Protection Campaign of the Government of India.
Regarding approval of taking loan for continuous implementation of the scheme.
Regarding the cleaning, grading and packaging facility in APMC, the project approved under National Agricultural Market Scheme / National Agricultural Development Scheme / Board Fund Head.
In the sequence of the proposal received from Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department and Chairman Mandi Board, approval of road construction works approved under Board Fund item.
Ratification of construction works approved from board funds in various market committees under the state.
Approval regarding financing for waste management in agricultural produce market committees of the state from Board fund item.
