Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that all the devotees coming to Ujjain for the darshan of Baba Mahakal are welcome and congratulated. Within the last three-four days, more than 5 lakh devotees had darshan of Baba Mahakal. All the devotees coming to Ujjain are not just our guests, they are guests invited by Baba Mahakal himself. Mahakal has called him to give him darshan. Therefore, there should be sensitivity and intimacy in every arrangement related to the hospitality of all the devotees. The Chief Minister said that by the grace of Baba Mahakal, Ujjain city has become the center of spiritual consciousness not only of India but of the entire world. The cooperation of the citizens of Ujjain is the true service of Baba Mahakal. The government, administration and society together will make Simhastha-2028 the most grand, divine and disciplined yet safe, well-organized and historic event.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of various development works at Nanakheda Stadium in Ujjain on Monday. The Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 12 development works costing about Rs 129 crore here. The Chief Minister simultaneously inaugurated and inaugurated three important initiatives prepared keeping the youth at the center in Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav launched Project Swadhyay (Coding for All). Through this project, students are being engaged with coding and digital thinking from an early age. The Chief Minister also launched the UtkarshUjjain.com web portal. This portal will become an integrated digital platform of learning, guidance and opportunities for the youth. Also launched Kaushal Setu Industry-Led Skill Development Programme. Skill Bridge will bridge the gap between education and industry and prepare the youth according to the real industry needs. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that these three initiatives will not limit the youth of Ujjain to just degrees, but will also lay the foundation for making them job-ready, startup-ready and future-ready.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also performed Bhoomi Pujan of 11 development works to be built at a cost of Rs 124 crore in Ujjain urban area. This includes widening work of various roads at a cost of about Rs 102 crore, promotion and development work of Kapila Gaushala (with a capacity of 3000 cows) at a cost of Rs 9.50 crore, development work in EWS Colony in Panvasa area at a cost of Rs 8.75 crore, construction of sports complex in Kanipura at a cost of Rs 3.47 crore and foundation stone construction work of new Janpad Panchayat building at a cost of about Rs 5 crore. He said that apart from all these works, other works costing Rs 45 crore are also in progress. While announcing, the Chief Minister said that modern astroturf will be installed in this old hockey stadium of Ujjain, so that international hockey matches can be held here. He said that during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian players are becoming medal winners in almost all sports.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we are trying to make the youth of Madhya Pradesh job givers and not job takers. The initiatives taken today will help us in this direction tomorrow. He said that Madhya Pradesh government’s initiatives like Sikho-Kamao Yojana, Skill India Mission and Prime Minister Internship Scheme are preparing the youth for the market and industries by giving them practical experience along with studies. This is the right opportunity for the youth of Ujjain to prepare themselves for a better tomorrow.
Simhastha will be amazing – 2028
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Simhastha is the largest religious fair in the world. It is a wonderful combination of Indian religion, culture, spirituality and tourism. In view of Simhastha, the government has also started all preparations. It is our endeavor that more than 5 crore devotees take bath/bath in the pure water of Shipra in 24 hours in the 30 kilometer long ghats. He said that to improve Simhastha, we have approved 33 major works in Ujjain at a cost of Rs 2675 crore. Implementation of these works has also started. We will pay special attention to crowd management during Simhastha. That is why uninterrupted connectivity is being ensured by connecting the entire fair area with four-lane and six-lane roads. Ujjain is being developed as a medical tourism hub to provide better health facilities to the devotees. In this direction, construction of modern medicine city in Ujjain is in progress. A new industrial park is also being built here. A new IT Park and Science City is being built in the old campus of the Engineering College.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today skill development centers have been started for 3 thousand youth near Ninaura and 2 thousand youth near Maksi for project self-study. Metro will also run between Indore-Ujjain in future, but before that we will get the gift of Vande Bharat Metro train. Chintaman Ganesh station of the city is also being developed as a main station. He said that a new railway station will also be built in Mohanpura. A big airport is also being built near Ujjain, so that devotees can land directly in Ujjain.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Shani Lok will be constructed in Ujjain. Rs 140 crore has been sanctioned for this. This Shani will establish another new identity of Ujjain in the field of folk faith and tourism. To connect Ujjain with other cities, four lanes are being built in all four directions. About 12-13 new bridges are also under construction here. This will improve transportation. He said that Ujjain will now be a part of Indore-Ujjain Metropolitan Area. It will be built in a total area of ​​14 thousand square kilometers. This is going to be the second largest metropolitan area in the country after Delhi. This will also include Shajapur, Shujalpur, Dewas and Ratlam of Ujjain division.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is writing a new story in the changing times. The grand Mahakal Lok built in Ujjain is creating its unique identity in the country and the world. Life becomes blessed by seeing Mahakal. He is not only of Ujjain but of the entire world. It is our good fortune that for the first time after 1980, bathing in Simhastha will be done with the water of Kshipra. Through the Kanh River Project, the people of Ujjain will get pure water for irrigation and sufficient water for irrigation. The Chief Minister said that Ujjain city has had special importance in every era. Mahakal, who sits here, is present in the body of all of us. All the work done by us is completed only for the sake of Mahakaal.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appealed to the people of Ujjain to come forward wholeheartedly to help the visitors from the country and the world during Simhastha. He also instructed the district administration to prepare a list of such volunteers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Ujjain also has a Juna Mahakal. Ujjain has been the center of planetary time calculation for the world. The state government has prepared Vedic clock on this basis. To organize Simhastha, development works are being speeded up while preserving the heritage in the city. Samrat Vikramaditya Hotel near Baba Mahakal Temple has been given a facelift. The old Kothi has also been renovated through Veer Bharat Trust. This caravan of development will continue, our government is committed to the overall development of the state.
Ujjain Lok Sabha MP Anil Firozia said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the work of changing the condition and direction of Ujjain is going on continuously. While being the Higher Education Minister, he has already given many gifts of development works to this city. Wide roads are being built in every village of Ujjain district. Farmers are being given Bhavantar amount and very soon they will also get crop insurance amount. The state government is giving Rs 1500 every month in the bank accounts of the beloved sisters.
