Bhopal : ‘Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh Growth Summit’, which is going to be organized on 25th December in Gwalior, is going to present the development model of Madhya Pradesh with a new and comprehensive approach. The event is not limited to just investment proposals and industrial announcements, rather it brings forward the holistic approach in which industry, urban development, tourism, MSMEs, start-ups and employment are seen moving forward together. This is the reason why this summit is not emerging as an ordinary program in the development journey of the state, but as an integrated development platform.

The schemes and achievements of the Urban Development Department have been given special place in the exhibitions and presentations organized by MPIDC during the summit. Through information panels and audio-visual films installed in the exhibition, it was explained how basic facilities are being strengthened in urban areas. These schemes are having a direct impact on the lives of common citizens. Smart city initiatives are empowering better roads, public services, digital amenities and urban management, thereby continuously improving the quality of urban life.

Information about big projects related to water supply, sewerage and green area development in urban areas is also being presented on this platform. The objective of these projects is not only to develop infrastructure but also to streamline urban expansion while maintaining environmental balance. Clean water supply, better sewerage systems and development of green areas are making cities more favorable for investment and employment.

Schemes to strengthen urban livelihoods and self-reliance also featured prominently in the summit. The interest-free loans given to street vendors under the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, initiatives to connect families with livelihoods through self-help groups and skill training to the youth show that urban development is not limited to just infrastructure but is equally focused on the empowerment of human resources. The progress of metro rail projects in Bhopal and Indore underlines the state’s commitment towards modern urban transport.

The expansion of this broad vision is also visible in the ‘Abhyudaya 2025′ pavilion of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. This pavilion presents the state’s cultural heritage, spiritual sites, wildlife tourism and experiential tourism through modern technology and well-organized content. Through films playing on LED wall, virtual reality experience, hologram technology for Mahakal Darshan and digital standees, it is being told how Madhya Pradesh is developing new experiences and opportunities in the field of tourism. Visitors’ participation is also being increased through interactive elements like selfies and photo booths, further strengthening the tourism identity of the state.

Parallel sessions organized at the summit on MSME, start-ups and exports make the event more practical. Policy support, capital market linkages, innovation protection, export promotion and opportunities in global markets will be discussed in detail in these sessions. The participation of senior representatives of national institutions, export organizations and financial institutions makes it clear that Madhya Pradesh is not limiting the entrepreneurs to just inviting investment, but is also providing them the necessary guidance and platform to move forward.

One of the biggest features of this summit is the widespread presence of the country’s top industrialists and corporate leaders. Leading industrialists and decision-makers from diverse sectors such as energy, renewable energy, automobile, textile, food processing, cement, FMCG and logistics will be present on one platform. Their participation shows that today the industry is seeing Madhya Pradesh as a reliable and future-oriented state.

During the summit, programs like bhumi pujan and inauguration of projects related to big investment proposals, land allotment and distribution of letters of intent and felicitation of industries generating high employment will be organised. This event is a proof that ‘Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh Growth Summit’ is not just a platform for ideas and dialogue, but a concrete effort connecting investment, employment and implementation together.

This event gives the message that development in Madhya Pradesh is not one-sided. Here, along with industry, the quality of urban life, tourism potential and the strength of MSMEs are equally on priority. This summit, which is going to be held in Gwalior, will emerge as a living example of the same balanced and realistic development thinking of the state.
