Bengaluru. The ongoing tussle over the Chief Minister’s post in Karnataka has attracted the attention of the entire country. There is a tussle going on, though not openly, between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. Leaders may not say anything openly, but supporters definitely talk. Regarding this problem, many people believe that it has happened due to the unclear thinking of the Congress High Command. Responding to this, Kharge made it clear on Sunday that the power struggle in Karnataka is only at the local level, it has nothing to do with the Congress High Command.

Speaking to reporters, Kharge completely denied that uncertainty had arisen because of the Congress high command. He argued that local leaders must take responsibility for their own internal differences. He said, “The high command did not create any confusion. This is all a local level matter. It is not right to put the blame on the high command.”

In the ongoing dispute between Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah over the party’s victory in the Karnataka elections, there is a fierce competition to take credit for the victory. Congress President also expressed his opinion on this issue. Emphasizing the role of the organization and workers, he said that the party’s victory is the result of collective effort and not the ambition of any one individual.

This statement of Kharge has come at a time when the Chief Minister controversy in the state seems to be at its peak. People from both sides are blaming each other and venting their anger publicly. When Kharge was asked whether DK Shivkumar would meet the high command in Delhi regarding power in Karnataka. Responding to this, he said that he was not aware of any such trip.
