Raipur : As another important link in the development works being done in the Municipal Corporation Korba area under the guidance of State Commerce, Industry, Labour, Excise and Public Enterprises Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan and the direction of Mayor Sanjudevi Rajput, today 06 wards of the corporation have received the gift of 16 new development works. Bhoomi Pujan of new development works worth Rs 01 crore 87 lakh was done today during the Bhoomi Pujan program organized in various places of the corporation area under the chairmanship of Chief Guest of Industries Minister Dewangan and Mayor.
Development work is going on continuously in the Municipal Corporation Korba area. In this connection, today on Sunday, ward no. Today, 16 new development works worth Rs 1 crore 87 lakh have been awarded in 33, 34, 29, 30 and 10, 06. It is noteworthy here that last Saturday, 08 wards of the corporation had received the gift of new development works worth Rs 02 crore 61 lakh. Today, Bhoomi Pujan of these development works was done during the Bhoomi Pujan programs organized in remote settlement Dhelwadih of the corporation area as well as in Mudapar, Imliduggu.
Government fulfilled Modi’s guarantee in a short time
In his address given on this occasion, Cabinet Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the state government has fulfilled its resolve by fulfilling Modi’s guarantee in a short time, the tenure of 02 years of our government has just been completed and during this period, on one hand, people of all sections of the society have been benefited from various public welfare schemes, on the other hand, the all-round development of the state has been given momentum and direction. He said that former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee had created the state of Chhattisgarh and now for the last 11 years, the country’s successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuously working on beautifying Chhattisgarh. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, who has an easy-going and simple personality, the economy of our Chhattisgarh state is growing rapidly, new industries and businesses are being started, employment is increasing and the standard of living of the citizens here is rising. Industries Minister Dewangan further said that the 15 years of tenure of Dr. Raman Singh has been the golden tenure of the state and in those 15 years, there was all-round development of the state and now Vishnudev Sai’s government is gradually developing the state.
Continuous gift of development works worth crores of rupees.
On this occasion, Mayor Sanjudevi Rajput said that the wards of Municipal Corporation Korba are continuously receiving development works worth crores of rupees through State Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao and Industries Minister Dewangan. She said that due to the continuous efforts of Industries Minister Dewangan, development works worth about Rs 800 crores have been approved in the corporation area in the last 02 years, triple in the country, state and Korba Municipal Corporation. The government of Engine is running, hence no problem of any kind will be allowed to arise in the development of Korba. Addressing the residents present, he said that your problems related to all the necessary basic facilities including roads, drains, street lights, drinking water and cleanliness will be resolved, our Korba will become a problem-free city, I assure you of this.
