Amethi.‘Good Governance Week – Administration Towards Village’ program run by the Government of India is being organized in the district from 19 to 25 December 2025. The objective of this program is to take the government schemes and services directly to the rural level and ensure quick resolution of the problems of the common people.
According to the information received, under the program, special camps are being organized at Tehsil Headquarters, Block and Panchayat level. In these camps, public complaints pending on the Central Public Grievance Redressal System of the Government of India and the State Portal IGRS are being resolved. Along with this, online service delivery services are being increased and timely disposal of applications is being ensured.
According to the information received from the District Information Office, on Saturday, under the direction of District Magistrate Sanjay Chauhan and the guidance of Chief Development Officer Sachin Kumar Singh, Chaupal was organized in 157 gram panchayats of the district. Officers and employees of Panchayati Raj, Revenue, Education, Health, Women and Child Development, Electricity, Agriculture, Irrigation and other related departments were present in Chaupal. They resolved the complaints of the general public on the spot and provided information about various public welfare schemes run by the government. During the Chaupal, eligible persons were also benefited from various public welfare schemes, which strengthened the concept of good governance at the rural level.
