Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai released eight coffee table books published by the Public Relations Department depicting the rich culture, tradition and natural beauty of Chhattisgarh, dedicated to the spirit of “two years of continuous service, continuous development”, at his office in Naveen Vidhan Sabha this evening.
These include Bastar Dussehra (Hindi), Bastar Dussehra (English), Punyabhoomi Chhattisgarh (Hindi), Punyabhoomi Chhattisgarh (English), Incredible Waterfalls of Chhattisgarh (Hindi), Incredible Waterfalls of Chhattisgarh (English), Baiga Tattoo (Hindi) and Baiga Tattoo (English).
Chief Minister Sai said that these coffee table books will play an important role in spreading the folk culture, historical traditions, tribal art and natural heritage of Chhattisgarh to the country and abroad. He described it as a meaningful effort to strengthen the identity of the state.
On this occasion, Jagdalpur MLA Kiran Singh Dev, Mahasamund MLA Yogeshwar Sinha, Public Relations Department Secretary Rohit Yadav, Public Relations Commissioner Ravi Mittal, Chief Minister’s Press Officer Alok Singh, former MLA Khilwan Sahu and other public representatives and other representatives of related departments were present.
