Raipur : Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has brought a positive change in the life of Draupadi Yadav, resident of village Devarbija of Bemetara district. Under this ambitious scheme of the Government of India, they got free LPG gas connection, which ended the compulsion of cooking on traditional stoves filled with smoke for years.
After getting the gas connection, clean, safe and convenient fuel has become available to Draupadi Yadav and her family. This not only made the kitchen environment cleaner, but also saw significant improvement in the health, time and standard of living of women. Now they do not have to go far to get wood, coal or cow dung cakes, making their daily life much simpler and safer than before.
