The state has touched new heights of development in the last two years: Minister Chauhan

Bhopal : Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister and Umaria district in-charge minister Nagar Singh Chauhan has said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the state has touched new heights of development in the last two years. Industrialists were invited by the state government by organizing Regional Industrial Conclave in various districts of Madhya Pradesh. Investment proposals have been received in the state. Garib Kalyan Mission was started for the welfare of the poor. Under infrastructure development, Chief Minister Sugam Transport Service was started in the cities and rural areas of the state. Under the Chief Minister Gram Sadak Yojana, 8565 villages have been connected with roads. Minister Chauhan was addressing the press on the completion of two years of the government in the District Panchayat Auditorium of Umaria.

Minister Chauhan also gave detailed information about energy, irrigation and drinking water, modern urban development, changed direction of rural development, food providers towards prosperity, cow protection, empowering women, education, health, good governance and cultural development.

Minister Chauhan said that in the last two years in Umaria district, more than two lakh women have been benefited under the Ladli Brahmin Yojana. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural Housing Plus, benefits have been given to 15931 beneficiaries out of which 9020 houses have been completed. 112 single tap water schemes have been completed by the Public Health Engineering Department. Domestic tap connections were provided to 13827 houses. Under the PVTG scheme, work has been completed and drinking water is being supplied to 98 habitations. Similarly, information was given about the achievements made in the last two years in the departments of Co-operation, School Education, Food, Health, Revenue, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Industry and Water Resources.
