Bhopal The 11th International Forest Fair is starting from 17th December at Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal. This fair will be inaugurated by CM Mohan Yadav. A unique confluence of culture, environment and science will be seen in this fair. Along with this, exhibitions and decorations on various subjects will be seen.
From Earth’s structure to dinosaur egg
Green footprint was being installed by APCO in the International Forest Fair. Through this, common people will be able to know how much damage is being caused to the environment due to their day-to-day habits. This kiosk is based on seven themes of Mission Life, which include Save Water, Save Energy, Waste Reduce, E-Waste Reduce, Single Use Plastic, Food System and Healthy Lifestyle. In this fair, replicas of Earth’s structure and dinosaurs and their eggs will be seen.
taste of desi cuisine
People coming to this fair will be able to enjoy local, tribal and desi cuisine of Madhya Pradesh. 26 food stalls will be set up in the fair, in which the taste of Dalpania of Alirajpur and Gondi cuisine of Bandhavgarh will be available. While setting up Ayurvedic College stall, they will explain how health can be taken care of through dishes.
More than 200 doctors will be present
The fair will provide a platform to showcase activities, products and opportunities in the field of minor forest produce and medicinal plants and to establish discussions among collectors, producers, traders, entrepreneurs, scientists, administrators and policy makers related to it. 200 doctors and experts of Ayurvedic system will provide free medical consultation in Van Mela.
