Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today released the ‘Energetic Chhattisgarh’ coffee table book published by Chhattisgarh Electricity Board for the Silver Festival at the Chief Minister’s Office in the New Assembly Complex. This quite table book is based on the establishment of the state of Chhattisgarh and the glorious journey, achievements and development story of 25 years of Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board and its successor power companies.
Chief Minister Sai said that this coffee table book is a living document of the historical changes, infrastructure development, innovations and public service based works that have taken place in the energy sector in Chhattisgarh. The coffee table book highlights the remarkable achievements of the state of Chhattisgarh in the energy sector with sound planning, modern technology and consumer-centric approach and showcases the comprehensive reforms in the power sector ranging from setting up of super critical thermal power plants to 32 thousand MW power generation capacity, robust operation of coal mining and expansion of the statewide transmission-distribution infrastructure.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the team of Chhattisgarh Electricity Board on this occasion. He appreciated the dedication, commitment and contribution of the officers and employees working in the energy sector.
On this occasion, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Chairman, Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Subodh Kumar Singh, Energy Secretary and Chairman Chhattisgarh State Power Generation and Distribution Company Rohit Yadav, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Electricity Transmission Company Rajesh Kumar Shukla, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Electricity Distribution Company Bhim Singh Kanwar and senior officers J.S.
