Raipur : Bharat Gaurav special train carrying 850 devotees of Surguja division left from Ambikapur railway station for Kashi and Ayodhya Dham. This holy journey was started by Mayor Manjusha Bhagat, Bharat Singh Sisodia and other prominent public representatives by showing the green flag. The station premises were completely filled with devotional atmosphere, where the passengers were warmly welcomed.

The district administration and IRTC have ensured proper arrangements for transportation, cleanliness, security and food for the pilgrims. Chhattisgarh Tourism Board employees provided assistance to all the devotees during the journey. The dedicated staff were prompt in solving every problem of the pilgrims, thereby assuring the pilgrims of a comfortable and convenient journey.

Pratibha Mishra said that it is highly commendable that the Sai government has made plans and arrangements for the pilgrimage for the general public. We have full confidence that this journey will further strengthen our faith.

Durga Prasad Yadav also expressed happiness and said, this convenient arrangement and respectful service will be memorable for all of us pilgrims. I have to say special thanks to Chhattisgarh Government Chief Minister Sai and Tourism Minister Rajesh Aggarwal who made this scheme successful in the public interest.

Minister Rajesh Aggarwal, while sending best wishes to all the pilgrims for the darshan of Ramlala, said that it is our endeavor that every citizen of the state should get convenient and respectable service as per their faith. Such journeys are being encouraged through Bharat Gaurav Train so that our cultural and religious heritage can be cherished.

This yatra will not only strengthen the faith of the devotees, but will also promote tourism and cultural development of Chhattisgarh. Under this scheme, all the facilities like food, medical aid, alternative accommodation and security have been provided to the pilgrims during the journey.

The journey of Bharat Gaurav Train, which started from Ambikapur, started successfully amidst devotional atmosphere and administrative promptness, which has increased the morale and confidence of the devotees of Surguja division. On this occasion, former chairman Lalan Singh, district administration officials, Deputy General Manager of IRCTC and officers and employees of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board were present.
