Raipur : The result of the continuous and determined efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma is that today Kabirdham district is experiencing all-round development from city to village. In this series, today he performed the formal bhumi pujan of the 4.30 km long Mohgaon-Chanta-Koko road construction work at a cost of Rs 2 crore 97 lakh in village Koko under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
This road will not only be a means of transportation facility but will also become the basis of economic, educational and social change in the lives of the villagers. This construction will bring new hope, new opportunities and a new future for the villagers who have been lacking road connectivity for years. The villagers had requested Deputy Chief Minister Sharma for the construction of the road, which he gave priority and approved. Today, with the Bhoomi Pujan, this much awaited construction work has been formally started, due to which the entire area is moving forward on the new path of development.
Deputy Chief Minister Sharma also made several announcements for the development of the area in the program. While announcing the construction of Higher Secondary School building, he announced Rs 3.50 lakh for leveling the school campus, Rs 2.60 lakh for CC road, Rs 2.50 lakh for construction of stage to promote cultural activities, construction of CC road for co-operative society access road, Rs 5 lakh for paving between Chhaanta-Koko road, construction of cycle stand for the convenience of students. During this, District Panchayat President Ishwari Sahu, Vice President Kailash Chandravanshi, public representatives and villagers were present.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said at the Bhoomi Pujan program that strong infrastructure is essential for development and the project will meet the needs of the local community. The government of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai is committed to rural development. Thousands of villagers of Mohgaon-Chanta-Koko villages will benefit from the construction of this road. There will be convenience in transportation. New opportunities for education, health, and business will materialize through better roads. He said that the government is continuously making efforts to provide better roads and facilities in the villages. He further said that the construction of this road will not only facilitate transportation but will also encourage economic activities in the area. Our priority is to strengthen the infrastructure in villages, so that every person can get better facilities. He said that we want that every area, whether urban or rural, should join the mainstream of development.
