PM Modi’s big statement on IndiGo crisis – rules and regulations to fix the system
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a big statement on the Indigo crisis. He said that the rules and regulations are there to fix the system. Rules and regulations are not there to harass people.

152 flights canceled at Delhi airport
The phase of cancellation in Indigo flights continues even today. Today, 76 incoming and 76 outgoing flights of Indigo have been canceled at Delhi Airport. In this way, 152 flights have been canceled so far.

Ram Mohan Naidu will answer today on Indigo crisis
The crisis that started with delay and cancellation of Indigo flights has now reached Parliament. On Tuesday (December 9) at 12 noon, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu will give a statement on this issue in the Lok Sabha. Earlier, he had said in the Rajya Sabha yesterday (December 8) that the problem was not due to any technical system, but due to IndiGo’s crew rostering and their operational planning.

IndiGo’s ‘monopoly’ on 60% routes
Air travel in the country has been completely disrupted due to the cancellation of a large number of IndiGo flights in the last one week. The biggest reason for this is believed to be Indigo’s dominance over the Indian aviation sector. According to Indian Express, out of every 10 passengers flying in the country, 6 travel by IndiGo. There are a total of about 1,200 domestic routes in India and IndiGo flies on more than 950 of these. The surprising thing is that out of these, about 600 routes (more than 60%) are such where IndiGo has a complete monopoly, that is, only that airline operates here.

There may be 5 percent reduction in IndiGo flights
According to TOI, a 5 percent reduction in IndiGo’s flight schedule in the first phase is considered certain, which means that IndiGo may lose around 110 flights daily. Not only this, if the situation does not improve, another 5 percent additional cut can also be made in the coming days.
