12 Congress councilors join BJP

Mumbai During the civic elections held in December in Maharashtra, 12 Congress councilors had formed an alliance with BJP-NCP to get majority on the Ambernath Municipal Council seat. After getting the information, Congress had suspended everyone on Wednesday. All the suspended councilors have joined BJP. Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party President Ravindra Chavan announced this at the BJP office late on Wednesday night. He said- People had elected these councilors and they had promised development to the citizens. They have come with us because the government is working in a dynamic manner and is capable of giving justice and development to the people.
